For council members, aldermen & county supervisors

Your district’s 311 activity, in your inbox every Monday. See what residents report in your area, what’s late and what got fixed, by email or in a read-only “My district” view.

The read-only My district page for a council member: requests received and closed, past due, median days to close, a district map and top issues.

How the district digest works

  1. City staff

    Staff subscribe you

City staff add your name, email, your district or districts, and how often: daily, weekly or monthly.

  2. Your inbox

    Your digest arrives

Only your district: the numbers against the previous period, top issues, requests past their deadline and the oldest open ones, by street.

    No portal account needed

  3. You

    You follow up

Share the public performance page, answer a constituent with a request’s status, or ask staff about a cluster you spotted.

The report by area panel: a table of council districts with received, closed, open, past SLA and top request types, and email scheduling options.

What’s in your digest

Every daily, weekly or monthly digest covers only your district, so you see your area at a glance.

  • Requests received and closed, compared with the previous period
  • The top issues residents reported
  • Requests past their deadline, and the oldest open requests, by street (never house numbers)
  • A link to the city’s public performance page
  • No portal account needed: staff subscribe your email
The city map with request pins and clusters, layer toggles and council district boundaries.

My district: a read-only login

Staff can give you the Elected official role: a read-only view of the portal, limited to your district or districts.

  • A “My district” home: numbers against the previous period, the trend, top issues, past-due and oldest open requests, and a map
  • Read-only requests, map and area reports for your districts
  • “Send me the digest” subscribes you in one click
  • Residents’ contact details and internal notes are hidden, and nothing is editable

A week with it

Monday morning, District 3

Last week’s digest is in your inbox: requests are up, potholes lead the list, and two are past their deadline on one street.

UsesDistrict reports

Before the town hall

The map shows a cluster of streetlight outages on one corridor, so you can ask staff about it before residents do.

UsesMap & GISReports

A constituent calls

You look up their request number and tell them the public status and the latest update while they’re on the phone.

UsesTrack & updates

A public tracking page with the request type, street, a progress tracker and public updates.

Helping constituents

Point residents to the city’s report page, and check on their requests yourself.

  • Share the report page link in newsletters and on social media; it works on a printed QR code, too
  • Look up any request by its number to see the public status and the latest update
  • Residents get email updates and a tracking link, so fewer calls come to your office

Questions cities ask

Do I need an account to get the digest?

No. City staff subscribe your email address; the digest arrives in your inbox like any other email.

Can I sign in and look at my district myself?

Yes. Staff give you the read-only Elected official role, limited to your district: a “My district” page, plus read-only requests, map and area reports. Nothing is editable, and residents’ contact details and internal notes are hidden.

Does the digest include residents’ names or addresses?

No. It shows streets, not house numbers, and no residents’ names or contact details.

What if a request isn’t in any district?

It shows as “No district” for staff, who set the right district on the request so your counts stay right.

Can a constituent check on their request?

Yes. With the request number, anyone can see its public status and latest update, without calling the city.
