Sentra 311311 service requests
About

Built in Fresno for California public agencies.

Sentra 311 is made by Computer Systems Plus, Inc., a family-owned Fresno technology company founded in 1990, and sits alongside CivicCA, SentraCheck, SentraDeed and GOVvpat in CSP’s family of public-sector products.

Computer Systems Plus, Fresno, since 1990

Computer Systems Plus, Inc. (CSP) started in 1990 as a hardware and software reseller for businesses across the Central Valley. Over more than three decades it grew into a full managed IT services provider — networks, workstations, security, backup and Microsoft 365 — run by local technicians from the same office on North Fine Avenue in Fresno.

That day-to-day work keeping organizations running shapes how CSP builds and supports software for the public sector. The team that answers support calls is the team that builds the products, at the same address and the same phone number. CSP is family-owned, and its public-sector products are built for the problems California agencies actually have: service requests, open meetings, accessible documents, accessible procurement and county records.

How we work with agencies

Accessibility first. Public agencies have to serve everyone, and the ADA Title II web rule now sets firm deadlines for public websites and apps. Our products are built to WCAG 2.1 AA and tested with automated accessibility checks on every release, and two of our products — SentraCheck and GOVvpat — exist specifically to help agencies meet those obligations.

California-specific. We build for California rules and practices: the Brown Act and SB 707 in CivicCA, SB 255 in SentraDeed, and California-hosted options where a product calls for them. Sentra 311 handles business-hour deadlines, council districts and Spanish-speaking residents because California cities need them.

Plain pricing and plain language. Sentra 311 is one plan priced by population, with no per-seat fees, feature tiers or add-ons, and we write our software, our documentation and our contracts so a clerk can read them.

Local support. You reach the people who build and support the product — a real office and real people in Fresno, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific.

The CSP family

Public-sector products from one Fresno team

CSP’s public-sector line is four products — CivicCA, SentraCheck, GOVvpat and SentraDeed — and Sentra 311 joins them for service requests. Each does one job well, and they work together where it matters.

Procurement accessibility

GOVvpat

Independent review of vendor accessibility claims. GOVvpat checks the VPATs (Accessibility Conformance Reports) vendors submit against the standard a solicitation names — WCAG, Section 508 or EN 301 549 — and returns dated, plain-language findings for the procurement file.

  • Every applicable criterion reviewed
  • Claims checked against the stated evidence
  • A dated assessment for the procurement file
  • Help with the ADA Title II web rule deadlines

County recorders

SentraDeed

SB 255 recorder notification for California counties. SentraDeed matches recorded deeds, deeds of trust and mortgages to Assessor ownership each day and produces accessible, print-ready notice batches, so county staff or a mail house can mail them within the time Government Code §27297.7 allows.

  • Daily matching of recorded documents to Assessor ownership
  • Accessible, print-ready notices (PDF/UA)
  • Mail-house manifests; the county keeps control of mailing
  • Built for the January 1, 2027 deadline

Why we built Sentra 311

Small and mid-size cities get the same potholes, streetlights and graffiti as big ones, with far fewer people to sort them. Most 311 systems were built for big cities with IT departments and call centers. We built Sentra 311 for the clerk, the public works director and the two crews who do it all — and we price it so a city of 8,000 can afford it.

It shares CivicCA’s approach: opinionated where it saves staff time, accessible by default, and honest with residents about what happened to their request. Read more about why small cities need a 311 system and closed means closed.
